Poltrona Frau reissues one of the most interesting and versatile works in Guglielmo Ulrich's extremely rich portfolio - the Brera bench.
The simplicity of the design is fully consistent with the particular weave of leather decorating the seat. Wide 2 mm thick stripes, decorated with hand markings along their entire length, create a motif that is both geometric and tactile. The overall effect, linear and refined, is extremely modern.
The structure and two legs, tapered and lightweight, are made of solid ash with a moka or wenge finish. The padding is made of constant density polyurethane foam, covered with a foam sheet combined with light black velvet. The Brera bench is perfect for many different contexts, from living rooms and bedrooms to public waiting rooms.
