Product description

The floor lamp consists of a single, very large hanging lamp. The supporting rod is made of brushed, polished steel. The Cuoio Saddle Extra leather strap to which the fixture is attached runs all the way to the base, covering the bottom of the steel mount. The bottom consists of a circular base of semi-polished Nero Marquina marble topped with a metal counterweight. The marble base has a sheet metal finish. All metal base details have a brushed, polished finish. In Chinese, Xi means "morning light", but also "the glory of wisdom". And when you turn on the XI lamps designed by Neri & Hu for Poltrona Frau, their soft, full light resembles sunlight in the morning. The project aims to convey a culture of light based on the idea that the beginning of each new day is like the beginning of life, imbued with a positive attitude and a sense of rebirth.
Xi lamps, made of blown glass and saddle leather, allow you to sway the space like lanterns. The light fixture combines two elements made of blown glass. The outer layer of glass with its special, regularly striated surface is transparent and available in amber, emerald, sapphire or moonstone. The inner part is made of white glass with a pearl finish, making the light warm and diffused. Unique pieces blown by glass masters from Venice using mass-colored glass. Differences in color and small air bubbles result from the artistic processing of the glass and should therefore be treated as small details that make each product unique and unique.
The fixture is suspended on an available Cuoio Saddle Extra leather strap in two finishes: Camel and Taupe, with tone-on-tone dyed seam and the Poltrona Frau brand logo. In the new floor and pendant versions, the hanging strap is held in place by a metal loop with a brushed brass finish.
The Xi collection includes different types of lamps: pendant lamps, lamps attached to horizontal bars and not, floor lamps and lamps tableware.
