Product description

Chair with backrest made of lacquered solid ash wood, seat made of lacquered solid ash wood or MDF board and polyurethane foam covered with fabric; or with a plastic seat. Legs made of stove-enameled, polished or matt anodized aluminum.
The twig concept is a seat with an aluminum base with large proportions and legs set at a pleasant and dynamic angle. These aluminum tubes change material and become wood, in organic combination with the armrests, also made of wood.
The collection comes in four versions; four chairs, each composed of different elements (solid ash processed by numerical control or plastic), which are then connected to a base made of aluminum.
Four unique and contemporary chairs, each with its own identity and at the same time fitting perfectly into the collection.
The most striking in terms of shape is twig 4, in which the backrest structure is interrupted in a clean and graphic way, like most of the works of the Japanese designer; The result is a design that is both iconic and stunning.
Twig 3 resembles the elegant movement of armrests, but provides greater comfort.
With a more traditional shape, twig 1 is also available in a twig comfort version with greater support. It features an elegant, hanging terminal in the armrest. The result is contemporary yet refined.
The twig collection fits into the Alias catalog in a coherent and natural way, creating a pleasant combination of the sensitivity of the Japanese designer Nendo with the technological interpretation of its Alias designs.
Twig is available with a polished, anodized or white painted structure; with backrests made of natural ash wood and seat made of ash or covered with Kvadrat® fabric or plastic. Twig comfort is also ensured by the backrest and seat made entirely of plastic.
