Product description

The Lizzy chair is a strong reference to structures and trends typical of the natural world. The project was born with a strong vocation for sustainable development. This is one of the few chairs on the market made of only 7 unique solid wood elements, with an additional seat element made of bent plywood. The unique design of the chair, with 4 legs that are individually implanted into the solid wood backrest, increases the strength of the entire structure, enabling the reduction of sections and therefore less material consumption. The use of steam bending of wood as the main technique used to create the product minimizes solid wood waste. The structure is made of solid, bent ash, and the seat is made of multi-layer beech ash. It was inevitable that Lizzy, born of pure wood, would one day clothe herself in the wonderful fabrics that represent the soul of Arflex. And this is how the upholstered version of the chair comes to life, increasing its comfort even more.
