Product description

FEATURES
Eero Saarinen's 1948 Womb chair, made exclusively for Knoll, showcases the Finnish-born designer's talent for questioning the rules, breaking the mold and setting new standards for modern design. The Womb chair is available in three sizes: standard, medium and small. The standard and medium sizes come with an ottoman. The Knoll logo is embossed into the structure of the chair and ottoman.
CONSTRUCTION
The chair is constructed of foam on a molded, reinforced fiberglass shell.
The cushion is constructed of a foam cushion on top of a molded plywood platform.
Includes separate seat, back and ottoman cushions in polyester fiber with a foam core.
Both chair and ottoman have stainless steel and nylon articulated rails.
FINISHES
The base has steel bar legs with polished chrome finish.
Upholstered with various fabrics. These products are available with foam that meets the requirements of BS5852.
