Structure: Polyurethane foam on a metal structure with elastic straps.
Pillows: down filled on a polyurethane core.
Glides: Articulated stainless steel and nylon glides.
FINISHES
The base consists of steel bar legs with a polished chrome finish or painted black.
Upholstered in various fabrics and leather. Eero Saarinen designed the groundbreaking Womb Chair following Florence Knoll's request for "a chair that felt like a basket full of pillows, something I could actually curl up in."
