Karuselli Ottoman is a companion to the Karuselli Lounge Chair and a continuation of designer Yrjö Kukkapuro's interest in achieving the highest comfort by combining functionality, ergonomics and organic form. The ottoman consists of an upholstered leather top placed on a white fiberglass pedestal.

The classic, modern design is the result of extensive experiments and a revolutionary combination of ergonomics, new materials and production methods.
Kukkapuro started working on the fiberglass chair in the 1950s, and it obtained its famous shape in 1964. The shape of the Karuselli chair is the result of extensive experiments - Kukkapuro spent four years sculpting it and finding the right dimensions, initially guided by his own body. Karuselli is exceptionally comfortable and stands out stylistically precisely because it is ergonomically based on the shape and proportions of the human body. As a result of continuous efforts, Kukkapuro finally achieved a form that is an innovative combination of ergonomics, new materials and production methods, as well as artistic design.
