Tabour – The productive Anglo-Indian duo, Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien, have designed for B&B Italia a capsule consisting of three decorative, functional objects that combine sensual volumes with modern materials, starting with the Tabour ottoman, in oblong, oval, square or shapes trilobites, which are the epitome of mix-and-match solutions. Resembling primeval sea creatures or large single-celled animals, they are designed to create archipelagos in the center of the room or become a natural continuation of sofas and armchairs. The textile or leather covers are pulled over the frame with a kind of large "button" that resembles a navel or a large eye and seemingly establishes communication between Tabour ottomans and the spirit of the room in which they are placed.
