It's the end of the 1950s: the arflex collection is joined by an interesting series of armchairs and sofas designed by Roberto Menghi and called Hall. In these years, design is not only for the "elite". The birth of other magazines after Domus, Triennial and specialized exhibitions managed to attract a wider layer of distributors and recipients. The Hall armchair receives an honorable mention in 1959 for Compasso d'Oro. The frame and armrests of the armchair and sofa are made of metal and covered with shaped polyurethane foam. The base is made of wood, in the colors of the arflex collection.
