Product description

Upholstered leather armchair with armrests from the ARP collection, designed by Sebastian Herkner for Linteloo.
Body: Metal frame, supported by a wooden base, covered with polyurethane foam of various densities for optimal support and comfort, wrapped in polyester quilting, Inner shell 100% cotton .
Legs: black polyurethane, 5cm (invisible).
Origin: handmade in Italy German-French artist Jean (Hans) Arp (1886-1966) recognized the human need for silence and feared it would disappear from the modern world: “Soon silence will become a legend. The man turned away from the silence. In 1942, he dedicated one of his most famous sculptures, "Sculpture de Silence, Corneille", to the virtue of peace. Its rounded shape and the ideas underlying it inspired Sebastian Herkner to design the modular and versatile ARP collection: soft, harmonious and indeed visually "quiet".
