Inspired by rationalist and contemporary concepts, Alexander is a seating system with various forms that can be combined with each other. Square and curved elements can be combined in the same composition, creating spaces with an intimate and enveloping atmosphere.
The various modular elements allow for a wide range of arrangements, from L-shaped configurations characterized by perfect geometry to linear interpretations that can evolve into sinuous profiles thanks to the original curved Alexander "Drop" elements, such as the chaise longue or rounded corner modules.
The modules can have a high or low backrest or a combination thereof, which increases the versatility of the system. Elements with higher rear seats create recesses, creating privacy corners where you can sit like a nest and provide great comfort while reading or watching TV. Instead, the lower back pieces are designed to not obstruct the view of the surrounding space.
Alexander is characterized by tailoring seam details in the corners of the sofa and on the high backrest/armrest, as well as a central seam placed on the backrest cushions.
The base is made of light brown aluminum rods and keeps the elements raised above the ground, thus giving lightness to the suspended shapes.
