Rhomb is a spacious, comfortable and solid chair with armrests, manufactured using a combination of the latest wood production technology and refined craftsmanship. The character of the chair is defined by its rhomboid cross-section, which rotates and changes its shape depending on the function of the curvature connecting the backrest and armrest. By selecting several types, colors and finishes of solid wood, the chair easily adapts to various interior situations, residential or public spaces. As a company, Prostoria focuses on production from solid wood, which resulted in the creation of the Rhomb chair model, my first project made in this noble material. Our intention was to design a chair with a distinctive identity combined with accentuated comfort. For this reason, our design incorporates a number of small but decisive changes in geometry and ergonomics that were meticulously researched throughout the design development. Rhomb is slightly wider than a regular chair, and its backrest organically flows into elongated armrests. This allows you to adopt different, more relaxed sitting positions, and feasting becomes a hedonistic act. The organic shape of the chair contrasts with the contemporary rhomboid geometry in the cross-section of the backrest and legs. The tactile and visual qualities of solid wood are emphasized thanks to the combination of cutting-edge technology and refined manual processing.
