The Straight Chair is a modern interpretation of the traditional Windsor Chair by George Nakashima. Featuring low-gloss finishes that enhance natural grain patterns, the Straight Chair showcases Nakashima's sensitivity to nature and his legendary craftsmanship.
FEATURES
Natural low-gloss finishes and vibrant wood grain patterns - walnut American and Hickory - Nakashima's pieces embody the designer and his craftsmanship.
CONSTRUCTION
The frame is made of solid American walnut, with turned American walnut legs and heads and contrasting Hickory spindles, a low-gloss clear finish and nylon glides . Each chair has George Nakashima's signature under the seat.
FINISHES
The chair is only available in American walnut. It has a high degree of natural color characteristics, ranging from chocolate, gray and purple-brown to deep honey. Over time, the color variations will soften and become more uniform.
