continuous flow of curved lines, a form of image drawn without lifting the pencil from the paper. It was originally a "doughnut" that inspired the sculpture: crushed and reworked, using irony to move beyond the usual approach to industrial design. Then the element itself: the padding and custom-made upholstery on the internal fiberglass frame reveal the interaction between the technical and expressive advantages of the design. Its endless lines are delicate but strong, creating a perfect harmony between surface and form, body and skin. The fabric reaches into the space around it, enlarging and enhancing the materiality of the piece without disrupting or overwhelming its fluidity.
Injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam on an internal steel frame. Feet made of painted steel. The covers cannot be removed.
