Product description

Marcel Breuer was an apprentice at the Bauhaus when he began experimenting with steel tubes to build a more transparent chair. Inspired by the bicycle frame and influenced by De Stjil's constructivist theories of movement, Breuer reduced the form of the classic club chair to its elemental lines and planes.

Logo KnollStudio and Breuer, Marcel's signature are embossed on the base of the chairs.

Frame is made of seamless steel tubing with a polished chrome finish.
