Asymmetrical curves are the inspiration for the Oltremare armchair, which complements the collection along with a padded bench.
A comfortable nest suspended on a slim base made of lacquered wood, whose basic lines, as agreed, make the silhouette of the armchair even more interesting. the "Oltremare" seating furniture collection designed by Antonio Marras and produced in collaboration with Saba, comes from a distant past and a place full of history, memories, memories filled with suggestions and visions. Observing its sinuous silhouette, which emphasizes its Sardinian origin, you can even see the familiar headland and a small island, a part of the coast that in ancient times separated from the mainland.
The sofa can accompany us on the fascinating journey of our lives, "it becomes one of us, a friend who stays with us, is doing so well that he doesn't want to leave.”
And in this way, Antonio Marras presented an object so dear to him that he defines a holy idol that talks about his land, his sea, but above all about its history.
We called it Oltremare because everything has a soul and every soul has a name.
Oltremare is a seating system that, although harking back to the past, conveys a strong contemporary soul and is inherently suitable for a variety of interpretation. It seduces from every angle with its fascinating character, constantly offering a new sense of splendor.
