Product description

saddle or leather element forms a wing that covers the armchair, supporting the frame like a sculptural corset, characterized by the inviting softness of the seat and backrest on the inside. Behind the apparent simplicity of the design lies an advanced technological process, as a result of which both the foam padding with different textures and the saddle leather or leather corset are made using two different Baydur® forms that perfectly fit the curved line of the chair.
Studio GamFratesi, when signing the project, worked on the idea of contrast, emphasizing it and combining the stiff frame of the saddle leather or leather element with the softness of the upholstered part, which is also visible from the back, thus creating a stage for interesting color combinations of saddle leather and material.
The legs are made of pewter-colored die-cast aluminum, and a unique arch-shaped frame connects the feet at the back, accentuating the curve of the saddle leather or leather body.
The product family includes an armchair with footstool and a lounge chair, both with the same functions and in different sizes, and now joined by the Angie Cover version upholstered entirely in fabric or leather.
The presence of saddle leather is not only a characteristic feature of the studio's commitment GamFratesi joins Minotti's creative team, but will also breathe new energy into a work of classic forms, offering a palette of different shades.

Technical data

Construction: metal, covered with flexible, fire-resistant polyurethane foam with an additional soft insert, covered with a breathable, hot-bonded, fire-resistant fiber upholstery.
Metal seat covered with fire-resistant polyurethane foam, suspended thanks to the high rubber content of an elastic band, then covered with a breathable, hot-bonded upholstery made of fire-resistant fibers.
Cushion: seat cushion with channeled goose down filling (Assopium certified, Gold Label) with a Memory Foam core insert.
Legs: molded cast lacquered aluminum Color tin with polished anti-fingerprint finish.
Protective black rubber pads.
ANGIE
Version with saddle leather shell: outer shell made of expanded structural Baydur® upholstered in saddle-hide, available in Bordeaux colors , Ash, Dove Gray, Sage, Mud, Moka, Black and Bulgary.
Version with a leather shell: the outer shell is made of expanded structural Baydur® upholstered with Aspen or Nabuk leather.
br />Covers in Shell version: the seat cushions and the inner shell upholstery can only be made of fabric and are completely removable.
