Signed by the eclectic Japanese studio Nendo, led by Oki Sato, Tape is a collection of armchairs with a strong personality, characterized by a light silhouette, including a wide range of models: armchair with and without armrests, lounge chair, bergère, two- and three-seater sofa and ottoman.
With his characteristic, ironic approach, the designer subverts the traditional concept of legs extending from the seat body, placing them outside the structure.
The ribbon owes its name to couture details, conceived as a piece of ribbon supporting light brown metal legs.
Nendo's true tribute to Minotti's tailoring expertise.
The soft curve of the shell, which shapes the armrest and houses the soft back cushion, emphasizes the clean and enveloping lines of the armchair.
br />Customizable in a wide range of leather coverings and fabric, presents two possible sets of pairs. In one version, fabric covers the backrest and seat cushion, while the shell and webbing details are made of leather in the same color; in the second, the fabric surrounds the backrest, seat cushion and the entire shell, and the tape details are made of light brown saddle leather.
Thanks to its strong formal identity and impeccable proportions, the tape becomes the hero of the space that receives it, both in both residential and hotel contexts.
