The Bibambola and Granbambola sofas are part of the Le Bambole series, originally designed in 1972, awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1979. An icon of timeless modernity and one of the most effective expressions of Made in Italy excellence combining research and creative flair, Le Firma Bambole has given a very personal answer about the seats. What makes them unique is the apparent lack of a supporting structure, the extreme naturalness of the shape and the combination of comfort, softness and flexibility that their appearance brings. Where the original design was based on a metal structure embedded in polyurethane, the materials now used are of the latest generation, starting with recycled polyethylene which provides structure. Sustainable design thanks to the selection of materials and a construction method that allows Le Bambole elements to be completely dismantled and therefore easily recycled.
