Product description

The Cestone sofa was designed to be placed in the middle of the living room. The focus is on the back and sides of the sofa, elements that you usually can't count on to add value. Instead, the back and sides of the Cestone sofa consist of a metal structure upholstered with woven strips of cowhide. Two versions of the irregular fabric pattern are available, with stripes in two different widths. Strips of cowhide can be closely woven to create a compact surface; or loosely woven so that the underlying upholstery fabric is visible. The resulting "checkerboard" pattern is a strong visual accent in aesthetic contrast with soft, upholstered parts with ideal proportions.
The Cestone sofa can be combined with the eponymous coffee tables, with a top in Canaletto walnut or ash, in a wide range of stains that create a delightful textural contrast with the warmth of cowhide.
