as part of a new collaboration with Cassina, the Shanghai studio founded by Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu designs the first collection of accessories to complement the sleeping space.
The Stay collection consists of free-standing furniture accessories that can be combined to suit the bedroom of even the most nomadic spirit , creating a place to store your belongings in the peace and shelter of home.
Created during this unique time of staying at home, Neri&Hu explores the concepts of home, shelter and inner sanctum in its debut collection. Functionally, the collection is used to store household items, so the name also refers to the way clothes and objects "stay" in their storage places, in a humorous way referring to our current human condition.
The Stay collection is a tribute to our collective experience of shelter (including objects), and as the world around us feels increasingly unstable, home becomes a resilient source of comfort and stability.
The Stay Clothes Rack, with a gunmetal or gunmetal finish, has been designed for hanging various types of clothes. Features precious wood details on which to hang clothes and place small items, as well as a low marble shelf for shoes and bags; this also acts as a counterweight, giving the product greater stability.
Materials:
- steel tubes of various sizes with a gunmetal or gunmetal finish, welded and bolted to the bottom shelf;
- lower shelf made of white Carrara marble, black Marquinia or gray Carnico marble;
- details made of mocha stained ash.
