as part of a new collaboration with Cassina, the Shanghai studio founded by Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu designs the first collection of accessories to complement the sleeping space.
The Stay collection consists of free-standing furniture accessories that can be combined to suit the bedroom of even the most nomadic spirit , creating a place to store your belongings in the peace and shelter of home.
Created during this unique time of staying at home, Neri&Hu explores the concepts of home, shelter and inner sanctum in its debut collection. Functionally, the collection is used to store household items, so the name also refers to the way clothes and objects "stay" in their storage places, in a humorous way referring to our current human condition.
The Stay collection is a tribute to our collective experience of shelter (including objects), and as the world around us seems increasingly unstable, home is a resilient source of comfort and stability.
Stay Screen is characterized by an elegant dual finish: the interior is available in Canaletto walnut, wood mocha-stained ash or stained black ash, and the outside is varnished in eight colors. The screen consists of three panels connected by bronze or bronze hinges that allow the furniture to be completely enclosed.
Stay Screen is ideal not only for creating private partitions, but also for hanging items thanks to accessories that can be attached to screws located at the top of the screen panel. They consist of one high and one low bronze or bronze hook, a long mirror with an embossed inner frame, and a round mirror that can be combined with a dressing table, with the same embossed inner frame.
Materials:
- metal bronze or bronze accessories and hinges;
- lower and upper panel frame in solid Canaletto walnut, mocha stained ash or black stained ash;
- wood veneer structure in the same substance as the frame;
- external panel matt lacquered in black, burgundy, Chinese red, navy blue, marron glace, comfortable beige, sage green or petroleum.
