Designed by Japanese Jin Kuramoto, Knit is a simple and iconic clothes rack with a distinctive carved design. Consisting of three powder-coated steel tubes joined together in a three-dimensional fashion, the tubes are securely "joined" together to support each other and provide strength to the body. Inspired by the tactile sensations of touched materials and the experimental processes of bending and knitting ropes and metal rods, knitwear was developed to extend HAY's wardrobe and garment hanging options in a flat design that is easy to assemble. With a high-gloss finish that creates a glossy effect, the fabric can be used to enhance functionality and visual appeal in hallways, bedrooms and other private or public areas.
