Product description
Carabottino is a vertical floor mirror with a linden wood support. The clever play of full and empty spaces makes this object mysterious and fascinating. The geometric wooden grid of this mirror creates new reflections visible from every angle when closed. Once opened, Carabottino is revealed, an elegant mirror, perfect for refined residences and hotel rooms.
Materials: canaletto walnut, lime, mirror. A wooden grid presented in a two-dimensional form, traditionally made of wooden slats, is considered an accessory of relative importance, a bit like a window frame, it is not perceived as an object in itself, because no grating objects or grids become objects. Its graphic appearance, a consequence of the logic of construction, makes it recognizable and interrupted by vertical and horizontal intersections, the play of solids and voids, images overlapping and filtered by their texture makes them come alive like moving images.
