Hakuna Matata is an Iroko garden armchair with a frame of sandblasted, solid, natural Iroko material with an oiled finish.
Immersing ourselves in the dense atmosphere of light rushing towards autumn sunsets, we find a quiet feeling of life returning to a slower pace, a regenerative relaxation that Baxter celebrates with some new pieces from its Outdoor and Indoor collections.
These include the Hakuna Matata armchair. Its name is a declaration of intent: named after the famous phrase that means "without worries" in Swahili, thanks to its strong and compact curved lines, it suggests an unprecedented approach to the time we spend in the garden and at home. From the backrest, which connects to the wide, slightly concave seat at the connecting part, to the two solid legs on which it rests stably, this object designed by Roberto Lazzeroni smiles at us reassuringly with its uniqueness.
Conceived as a sculpture capable of both to inform with its presence the space in which we choose to place it, and to welcome us into the embrace of its generous proportions, it is playful in relation to other elements that decorate the outdoor space and informal alongside those in the living room, bedroom or study. In caramel shades of sandblasted natural iroko with an oiled finish that helps it cope with outdoor life, as well as in solid ash stained matte black to give the interior a delicate elegance, there is a desire for Hakuna Matata to change with us to allow him to introduce small changes typical of wood and typical of Baxter's approach to the characteristic character of the material.
