Himba is a low garden stool with a frame made of sandblasted, solid, natural Iroko material with an oiled finish. Design as play and reflection is at the heart of the idea of well-being that Baxter infuses into each of its objects. This personality, both fun and creative, characterizes the Himba collection.
Accessories designed for outdoor living, with sandblasted natural iroko wood and oil finishes that increase their resistance, ideal for adding profile to your garden, terrace or swimming pool, even in the cold season. On the other hand, indoors, sandblasted solid black stained ash, with its diverse, vibrant veins and rich spiritual strength, defines the silhouette of sofas, armchairs, tables and coffee tables.
“I came up with Baxter with elements with an organic, sculptural character," explains Roberto Lazzeroni, who designed them. While keeping us company, they also become witnesses of our free time, moments spent with family and friends, they are accused of the passage of physical time, which, over time, highlights their qualities and "camouflages them with plants until they become a calming presence."
The polished armrests of the chairs and deckchairs, their solid, dynamic legs, the tops covered with leather and fabrics intended for outdoor use, are gradually clothed with the lights and shadows of the days that transform these elements into guardian-like figures. The reading of scenography and Zen art is mixed with accents of primitive Africanism.
Just like sculptures, the elements of the Himba collection are characterized by powerful, compact lightness, thanks to which they will fit into the spacious space of a living room, an organized office or in the coziest corner of the bedroom. Their delicate rigor, composed of fluid, open lines, defines airy, unusual perspectives in the interior. The space opens up and seems enlarged; light finds new ways to break through, nourishing the relationship between inside and outside, capable of expressing both encounter and possibility.
