Shell is a sustainable design exercise. With its memorable and iconic geometry, Shell represents a direct dialogue between support and structure, between solidity and plasticity, wood and metal. The aim was to create a versatile product that could suit both private and public spaces, due to its modularity and different finishes this porpouse became possible. The structure has been developed in a greater thickness than usual to give this product character without being invasive. Thanks to hidden connectors, the plywood shell appears to be simply connected to the structure, creating a clear and easy-to-understand whole. The plywood shell is available in various finishes, making the collection very universal. From lacquered MDF to plywood with an oak finish, emphasizing the warmth of the wood and upholstery that always adds a touch of comfort to any piece. Frame: 0.86 inch diameter calibrated tubular steel. Armrest: Calibrated steel tubing with 0.79 inch diameter. Seat/Backrest: Plywood backrest body with oak veneer finish. Also available in varnished MDF board in any color.
