Product description

Papilio Shell is available in two versions: with a polypropylene shell or padded and upholstered in a wide range of fabrics and leathers. Different types of bases give the chair a different look and are suitable for different uses.
The name and shape are inspired by the butterfly, which means "papillio" in Latin. The Japanese designer took advantage of the lightness of nature and transformed it into a light, colorful, poetic chair. The shape of the backrest in all these products is similar to the multi-colored wings of a butterfly opening for flight.
