Designed by Mies van der Rohe for his famous Tugendhat House in Brno, Czech Republic, the chair reflects the groundbreaking simplicity of its original surroundings. The design is renowned for its slim profile, clean lines and meticulous attention to detail.
FEATURES
Classic KnollStudio design, manufactured to Mies' original specifications.
A simple profile, clean lines and meticulous attention to detail have made the Brno chair Ludwig Mies van der Rohe from 1930, an icon of 20th century design.
The KnollStudio logo and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's signature are embossed on the base of each chair.
CONSTRUCTION
Steel frame with no visible joints between the seats and the frame.
Seat and backrest made of durable, hard wood.
Fully upholstered seat and backrest with variable density foam.
This version is also available, available with a thicker cushion and without or with handmade crafted leather armrests.
Opaque plastic snap-in covers are included and can optionally be inserted when used on hard floors.
FINISHES
Available in polished chrome or satin frame.
In fully upholstered seat and backrest available in a wide range of fabrics and leathers. This product is available with foam that meets BS5852.
