Designed by Mies van der Rohe for his famous Tugendhat House in Brno, Czech Republic, the chair reflects the groundbreaking simplicity of its original surroundings. The design is renowned for its slim profile, clean lines and meticulous attention to detail.
FEATURES
The simple profile, clean lines and meticulous attention to detail have made Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's 1930 Brno chair an icon 20th century design.
The KnollStudio logo and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's signature are embossed on the base of each chair.
CONSTRUCTION
Steel frame with no visible joints between the seat and frame.
Seat and backrest made of durable hardwood.
Fully upholstered seat and backrest with variable density foam.
The set includes opaque plastic snap-on covers that can be inserted when used on hard floors.
FINISHES
Available with a polished chrome frame.
Fully upholstered seat and backrest available in a wide range of fabrics and leathers. This product is available with foam that meets BS5852.
