Inspired by the clean aesthetics of classic Shaker furniture, French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have designed Passerelle - an updated interpretation characterized by the same simplicity and quality in a more contemporary context, adapted to the demands of modern lifestyle. Thanks to its well-balanced, flat design, the tabletop has solid wooden edges and a top surface of veneer, laminate or linoleum, and the core is made of Lisocore® - an advanced, high-quality material that provides great durability, while being extremely light and easy to move. The table frame is equally solid and functional, with solid wood legs and an aluminum and steel crossbar that strengthens and stabilizes the table.
Embodying the pure functionality and utilitarian approach of the Shaker movement, the Passerelle is designed for social events, with a shape and design that suits most types of seating, while the variety of materials and colors enhance the Passerelle's multi-functionality, making it suitable for use as a desk, a high table or dining table in both private and public spaces.
