Viga shelves are a perfect addition for the whole family, expanding its functionality. They can be used as an independent element in any interior; alternatively, they can be combined with operational and executive desks as side pedestals, providing the user with additional space for storing everyday tools and documents. These shelves will keep the workplace tidy and at the same time meet the expectations of every user regarding high-quality design. Viga (the Spanish word for beam), heavily influenced by tradition, is a fresh breath of Mediterranean design. Based on the idea of one strong, basic element, Viga seamlessly combines an extruded aluminum beam with crafted wooden elements such as legs or worktops. And from there the rest of the family grows and develops. Alex and Clara, the creators of Yonoh Studio, wanted to create a completely new system with versatility and adaptability in mind. Nowadays, static and monolithic environments feel outdated; companies - and therefore users - are quickly moving to more hybrid territories: in the office we want to feel at home (warm light, soft fabrics, natural materials), and at home we want to feel like an office (professional work spaces, high-quality furniture, stainless steel fittings). To achieve this, modularity and detail are key.
