When creating the Viga Executive desk, Yonoh wanted to build bridges instead of walls: a friendly desk that provides comfort for both the user and the guest. A highly functional desk with as few components as possible, avoiding a cluttered and overwhelming work environment. The Viga office desk is available in several sizes, with an optional side cabinet that will help keep documents and stationary items in order. Always based on the iconic extruded aluminum beam, it looks both light and solid. Strongly influenced by tradition, Viga (the Spanish word for beam) is a fresh breath of Mediterranean design. Based on the idea of one strong, basic element, Viga seamlessly combines an extruded aluminum beam with crafted wooden elements such as legs or worktops. And from there the rest of the family grows and develops. Alex and Clara, the creators of Yonoh Studio, wanted to create a completely new system with versatility and adaptability in mind. Nowadays, static and monolithic environments feel outdated; companies - and therefore users - are quickly moving to more hybrid territories: in the office we want to feel at home (warm light, soft fabrics, natural materials), and at home we want to feel like an office (professional work spaces, high-quality furniture, stainless steel fittings). To achieve this, modularity and detail are key.
