Product description
The D1 Office chair designed by designer Stefan Diez is a perfect combination of aesthetics, innovation and dynamics.
The design assumes a sitting behavior in which shape, function and ergonomics interact in an almost symbiotic way.
The seat upholstery is attached with using upholstery strips on a peripheral frame made of steel pipes. The seat and backrest of this chair adapt to the flexibly changing body position and, thanks to their functionality, require dynamic sitting.
The new D1 series bases are made of high-quality, matte black, powder-coated aluminum, just like the entire frame.
The core of this series is the Dondola®4D technology made of high-strength Zamak casting alloy, which is located in a visible joint under the chair seat.
A particular innovation is that this technology allows separate reclining movements of the seat and backrest around four axis.
Completely integrated with the mechanics is the remote-controlled seat height adjustment via a Bowden cable, which passes invisibly through the Dondola® 4D mechanism.
Quick click foot with plastic inserts for carpet floors additionally ensure optimal operation.
