DE SYMMETRIA designed by Luca Scacchetti is a collection inspired by serenity. Take in the images of the hammock looking up toward the top of the umbrella pines, where their thin and bare branches offer flat arrays of greenery. Or maybe imaginary waiters, worthy of a well-choreographed musical, in which their arms are wide open and all fingers pointing upwards to hold the glass trays in perfect harmony.
Now imagine this collection applied with the symmetry of two stripes or steel arms of different lengths that hold transparent tops. These straps can be covered with saddle leather for a more comfortable look. The result is a system built like a bridge, very architectural and based entirely on the static components of balance defined by symmetry.
The shape and mass can be covered with wood and saddle leather, glass and saddle leather only in saddle leather or lacquered for contrast with the lightness of trays and transparent tops. The transparency of these steel "open hands" becomes a hallmark of the collection.
There is the same relationship between the tree trunk and the branches or between the body and the outstretched hands, which is reproduced here with sparse but basic lines that mirror each other, creating DE SYMMETRY.
