Quasar is a portable table or hanging lamp made of anodized aluminum.
Fascinated by round shapes, Samy Rio wanted to give this object a look that is as clean as it is eccentric. Deeply committed to the craft, Samy spent two years of research to bring his design to production, which represents the perfect compromise between technical choices and efficient use.
A nod to the world of astronomy, Quasar (short for "quasi-stellar") is the brightest star in the galaxy. The portable Quasar lamp is rechargeable and wireless, and its range is from 6 to 12 hours. It can be used as a table lamp or, thanks to the rope placed at the top, as a suspension.
Quasar is made of high-quality materials such as anodized aluminum, while the base is made of ABS, an impact-resistant polymer, made of 25% of recycled materials
