The Asola table lamp refers to the 1970s and 1980s, both in terms of the material used - perforated steel - and its white color, as well as its stylized shape resembling a mushroom. The latter brings to mind emblematic lights of the period, such as Giancarlo Mattioli's Light of Nesso (1967) or Mario Botta's Shogun (1986), designed for Artemide.
