The diffuser is manufactured using the ancient technique of cage-blown glass: the glass manufacturer blows a drop of molten glass into a metal cage, which only partially restricts the drop's natural expansion. In this way, the glass surface is partially trapped by the cage and partially escapes, creating a feeling of tension as the subject struggles to free itself from the harness; The cage is additionally enriched with galvanic treatment, which makes it look shiny and dazzling. Especially the transparent version reveals a double structure that multiplies the scenic effect, while the metal cage pattern casts kaleidoscopic shadow effects on surrounding surfaces. On the contrary, in the white version, the glass gently surrounds the surface of the cage and highlights its geometric pattern, generating elegant and visually pleasant diffused light. The lighting fixture creates a very attractive and impressive effect both when turned on or off.
