Equatore is a contemporary reinterpretation of a classic lamp with a glass shade. While the traditional abat-jour uses a lampshade to contain a light source, in this family of lamps the lampshade is paradoxically and evocatively empty, and the light is generated by two luminous disks placed inside a central metal strip, visible on the lampshade. which brings to mind the equator line. The light produced by LEDs, thanks to internal screens arranged in layers, is distributed evenly over the surface of the disks, magically illuminating them. The lower disc directs the light stream downwards, the upper one illuminates the glass lampshade, giving soft, diffused light. Available in table, floor and ceiling models, in two sizes and two colors: a cooler gray version with a dark chrome frame and a warmer version with a transparent dove gray overlay and a copper frame.
