Product description

WATER BRIGHT is a lamp made of solid OAK wood obtained from Venetian Briccole poles, preserved with EXTRACLEAR RESIN resembling the water of the Lagoon. Light is provided by an integrated LED system and a metal dimmer. The natural wood surface is not covered with resin on the section planes because Alcarol always uses a selective wood coating with a matt natural effect. In line with Alcarol's concept of ecological cross-section, the elements of the Bricola collection are reused and given new life Oak pillars recovered in the Venetian Lagoon. Over the years spent in the canals, these poles are subjected to the constant work of lagoon mollusks and atmospheric agents, which carve and carve the wood, making each piece unique.
Thanks to the patented and developed resin process, Alcarol keeps the natural wood intact and the peculiar live edges, filling gaps and capturing underwater air bubbles, restoring the wood to its original appearance and condition. At the same time, the natural wood surface on the cross-sectional planes is not covered with resin to provide different touch and visual sensations and give them the basic characteristics: warmth and matte porosity of natural wood, elegance and suggestive transparency of the resin.
