The Metrica floor lamp is a balanced lamp for the living area, emitting diffused light in the surroundings, directing it towards the wall, avoiding direct glare. Features a 86.5cm high polished black or white body, resting on a polished white round base.
The 50cm long LED light source, hidden inside the base support, begins to glow immediately as light emerges and gradually brightens , until it reaches its brightest point.
Think of Metrica as a floor lamp next to the sofa or in the corner of the living room. However, this lamp is so discreet and structurally significant that placing and moving it anywhere in the room can be fun.
Available on the Martinelli Luce website. The light takes shape the moment you pull it out.
Metrica takes its name from a classic measuring instrument, inspired by the same extraction gesture: the LED light source can be extracted or moved from inside the lamp, reproducing the same movement of the counter.
This combination of technology and aesthetics is what makes Metrica unique: the mobile design has a detecting sensor alternating black and white.
As soon as the hidden LED light source is removed from the base, it begins to glow and gradually becomes brighter until it reaches its highest point. Turns off when you return to base.
