The AYNO lamp series is expanded to include a wall version in two sizes.
The dimensions of the AYNO wall are based on the successful AYNO L and XL floor lamps. In addition to the flexible adjustment of the height and direction of the lamp, the new wall bracket also allows it to be rotated left and right. As a result, the wall AYNO emits perfectly directed, glare-free light over the sofa, coffee table, desk or dining table. With AYNO - the first new Midgard lamp design since the 1950s, industrial designer Stefan Diez tests the boundaries between the origins and status quo of adjustable lighting. The project assumes a radical approach to the matter, both formally and technically.
The central feature of the AYNO family of lighting fixtures is a fiberglass rod that is stretched to the bow using the fixture's cable. The natural tension of the rod allows for a lamp without any connections. By moving the two adjustment rings at the top and bottom, the fiberglass rod is bent to the desired position and the light is directed where it is needed. The cable tensions the rod into an arc, the radius of which can be changed as needed using adjustment rings. Precise adjustment is made using a rotatable lampshade.
SUSTAINABILITY
AYNO is one of the first LED lamps that the user can repair without tools: the lamp head or transformer can be replaced manually using plug-in connectors. AYNO is largely made of recycled materials. The three primary frame materials, which are fully recyclable, can be easily separated by hand for clean recycling without the use of tools. The use of semi-finished products allows you to avoid transport routes, as standardized materials can be obtained from local markets.
