The ON, on.entropy hanging lamp brings out the contemporary design potential of a classic material, transforming the rawness of raw marble into a luminous and warm rock that almost floats in the air.
ON consists of a uniform volume of marble and discreet suspension wires and cables. Where marble is carved, light is introduced to expose the materiality of the precious rock and its unique vein pattern. ON hangs on thin cables that provide streamlined sophistication in the space. As such, it serves both as a light source and as an element with contemporary decorative value.
The process of emptying and filling space is crucial to the identity of on.entropy.
