Orsa Cluster, launched in 2016, is available in two sizes to provide different lighting performance. In addition to a single suspension, it is available in two standard versions of the chandelier with three or five elements. The plastic body is shaped by the angle of light distribution, which is scattered by a lens intended for this purpose. In this way, the light is cut to reach the lower, opalescent part, which reflects it with even, glare-free brightness and transforms the device into a suspended disk. An elegant and minimalist object, Orsa is intended for individual use or as part of a wider installation, in both standard versions and in custom-designed compositions. In fact, the Orsa design allows maximum application flexibility for custom solutions combining multiple components. A multitude of light, transparent bodies reaching to different heights can create a surprising chandelier that plays with light, transparency and reflections.

Lifespan: 50000-L70 Orsa is the embodiment of precision - an elegant hanging lamp reduced to the most important elements , allowing the light to express greater volume. A slender metal shaft flares at one end to form a heat sink and LED housing, with a UV-bonded methacrylate shield containing the light source. The design of the methacrylate lampshade makes the light source invisible, giving it the appearance of a floating disc of light. The industrial design team at Foster + Partners experimented with different materials, surfaces and optics to achieve the desired lighting effect and volume. The elegant, minimalist Orsa object has been designed as a single element or as part of a larger set.
