AXOR CITTERIO E | Countertop washbasin tap designed by Antonio Citterio. Aesthetics, refined functionality and exceptional workmanship: with Axor Citterio E, Philippe Grohe and the Italian architect/designer Antonio Citterio launched in autumn 2014 a new collection of bathroom fittings that exudes elegance, high quality and value.
Axor Citterio E luminaires are characterized by a balanced contrast of smooth shapes, clean lines and noble surfaces – features of elegance and high quality respectively. Soft and slim faucet handles characterize the design of the entire collection, as in the case of a single-lever faucet with a modern, vertical handle with a joystick or 3-hole faucets with classic cross-shaped handles. All 37 products of the collection share a visually attractive and harmonious appearance that complements various styles, from Art Nouveau to modern urban.
Easy volume and temperature adjustment is an important feature of the entire collection - from the washbasin to bathtub and shower faucets. The different handles of the thermostatic modules, in their archetypal shapes, allow the user to intuitively understand their functions: the cross handle controls the amount of water, and the cylindrical thermostat handle controls the temperature. In hotel bathrooms, a two-way switch clearly indicates which shower head is currently in use. Additionally, Hansgrohe Select Thermostat technology enables separate control of the hand shower, side shower and overhead shower with a simple press of a button and easy-to-understand icons. In the bathtub, you can switch from the bathtub spout to the hand shower by pulling a clearly marked lever - even with washed hands.
