The shelf is made of lacquered aluminum and can be anchored with a collar (A) and embedded in the ground (C). With the vision of creating a timeless, durable series of garden furniture for urban and nature environments, Folk was created - a wide and flexible series of garden furniture consisting of park benches in various designs, waste bins and bicycle racks. In Scandinavian cities and towns, such amenities can be found everywhere, often becoming a natural part of a
park or sidewalk. The collaboration between Vestre and Front began with a discussion on the importance and advantages of public spaces and, above all, the function of seating in urban environments. A park bench is a meeting place for city residents. This is where they meet to drink coffee in the sun, and it is also a place where you can stop and rest while carrying heavy bags or during a long walk or run. The Folk series was created with all this in mind.
