Product description

The starting point for STRIPES was the idea of creating large, solid seats in an urban environment, somewhat reminiscent of ottomans or rafts. The series has evolved into a modular system consisting of two basic modules, a rectangle and a semicircle, which can be combined to create benches of various shapes and sizes.
The name STRIPES comes from the gap between the slats in the seat, which run along the steel frame. When connecting several modules, the rhythm of the stripes is deliberately used to create the illusion of one large bench.
STRIPES modules can be placed individually or linked together and, where appropriate, integrated into an existing or new tree, acting as a tree guardian. The modules have free-standing legs, thanks to which they are slightly raised above the ground. Steel details are hot-dip galvanized (901) and designed for long-term use. Choose from almost 200 different RAL powder coating colors (900). All screws and connectors are supplied from acid-resistant or stainless steel.
Wooden products are supplied from linseed oil-impregnated pine from Scandinavia, PEFC certified. Standard hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated wood products can also be supplied with Kebony Radiata®. Oiled oak or ash is recommended for interiors.
Other types of wood are available on request.
