The door handle, an iconic complement to home decor, summarizes the first moment of contact with architecture and the first moment of taking over space, a prelude to moving from one place to another.
The design of the DUE door handle refers to the figure of the "archetype of the door handle", a small work of architecture capable of conceptually creating an ideal bridge between the human body, industrial design and architecture. The figure becomes original by transforming two traditional functional elements, the handle and the plate, into a pair of slender parallelepipeds, perfectly equal: a solution with significant sculptural strength.
At the same time, the work of formal synthesis reduces the door-to-space relationship to a degree close to zero, going beyond the factors of style and scale of the host: the universal use of the door handle.
