The IKI handle has a palindromic construction form: the profile in the top view is identical to the front view, but reversed by 180 degrees. An elegant, essential form in which pure angles generate a variable volume that ends in semi-circular forms and suggests proper grip thanks to its frontal profile. The concept of balance of opposites, derived from Japanese philosophy, prompted designers to choose the name IKI - another palindrome - meaning "simple, refined, spontaneous".
