HAMBURG is an aluminum window handle with a lock. With SecuForte®, HOPPE offers a completely new standard of burglary resistance. When the window is closed or tilted, the handle and square spindle are disconnected and the handle is automatically locked. This is a unique concept that protects against unauthorized opening of the window from the outside.

SecuForte® window handles provide virtually no opportunity for burglars to manipulate the window: as long as the handle is separated from the square spindle, operating the handle from the outside is virtually impossible. SecuForte® protects not only against shifting the window fittings from the outside, but also against burglary by piercing the glass seal or drilling the frame to enable turning the window handle from the outside.

New protection principle = New window handle actuation
SecuForte® handles move differently than usual, but very simply. To open the window, first push the handle towards the rosette. This will release the lock and the handle can be turned as usual. When closing or tilting the window, the handle is blocked and can only be activated by pressing it again. The "push to turn" principle has been around for a long time. It is used, for example, in child-resistant bottles for hazardous materials such as medicines and cleaning products, to make it virtually impossible for children to open the container and protect them from injuries that the contents of the bottle may cause.
Increased window safety with SecuForte®
SecuForte® window handles disengage and lock when the window is closed or ajar, meaning the handle and square pin are not connected. A burglar can reach the handle by piercing the glass seal or drilling the door frame and breaking it off the rosette using great physical force, and yet the pin will not move.
